SERVICES
The pharmacists here at Progressive Health Care are on call
24 hours a day to provide you with the best service possible.
Service points we like to emphasize are listed below:
Quality - When we receive an order from a physician, we
compound the solution in a sterile environment to exact specifications.
Our staff coordinates care with nursing services to ensure
that patients receive their supplies in a timely and professional
manner. Because we are local, we can react quickly to changes
in solutions and therapies, saving time and money.
- Physicians - Progressive Health Care works with local physicians
and specialists from Minneapolis, Fargo and other medical centers
that send patients home with IV therapy, to ensure the most
appropriate care possible.
- Nursing Services - Progressive Health Care works with local
nursing services who provide excellent, direct patient care.
We work with the nursing service to help train patients to
properly administer IV therapy and enteral products.
- Monitoring - Progressive Health Care has a pharmacist on
call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to address concerns
or questions immediately.
- Supplies and Equipment - Progressive Health Care offers all
equipment and supplies needed to effectively deliver home infusion
therapy.
- Insurance - Our staff works directly with your insurance
carrier to help minimize your paperwork.
What exactly does Progressive Health Care of Bemidji do?
We are just like a community pharmacy, but instead of selling
oral medications we supply IV medications, feeding products,
and all of the supplies needed to use these products. All of
the IV products we supply are made in a sterile room we designed
especially for this purpose. Therapies Provided
I know you have someone on call 24 hours a day - why is that
important?
Few people are familiar with IV therapy. We feel it is important
for you to be able to ask us questions about your drug therapy.
For example, you may need help if your pump is not working properly
or you may want to know if it is okay to start an infusion an
hour early because you are expecting visitors. If you are experiencing
an adverse reaction, or simply need some information, we are
here to help you.

Care’s home infusion therapy service, call us at:
